Alonso Armendariz, DDS offers a full range of dental services for patients of every stage in life. The goal of our office is to provide our patients with the best quality dental care in a friendly, gentle, and helpful environment.
Dr. Armendariz has been practicing dentistry in Rio Grande City for over 26 years. Dr. Armendariz graduated in 1985 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. He then received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston in 1991. After graduating, Dr. Armendariz practiced dentistry in the McAllen and Rio Grande City areas. He opened his own practice in Rio Grande City in 1998. He has since had the privilege of serving the wonderful people in his community.


When Dr. Armendariz is not in his office he enjoys spending time with his family. His interests include golfing, fishing, and running. Dr. Armendariz has run several marathons including the New York, Houston, San Antonio, Nashville and Disney World Marathons. Many of these he has run to raise money for charities like the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the National Tourette Syndrome Association. Dr. Armendariz also spent much of his free time over the last 10 years coaching his son's baseball team. This was probably his favorite pastime.
